Originally from Toronto, Canada, Greg was a nationally ranked junior player and a member of the All-Canadian Tennis Academy at York University. He later attended Henderson University on a full tennis scholarship, earning a degree in Journalism before beginning what has become more than three decades of coaching and player development.
Throughout his career, Greg has worked at many of the country’s most respected academies and tennis organizations, including the Port Washington Tennis Academy, the USTA National Tennis Center, ISA Academy in San Diego, Centercourt Tennis Academy, the John McEnroe Tennis Academy, and most recently as Director of Player Development and Head Tennis Professional at Atlantic Club in New Jersey.
His experience spans every stage of player development—from introducing young athletes to the game through coaching nationally ranked juniors, NCAA Division I players, and internationally competitive athletes. Along the way, he has built junior pathways, directed academy operations, led high-performance programs, managed coaching staffs, developed curriculum, and organized national tournament travel.
Today, Greg serves as the Director of Early Player Development at Trizzino Tennis Academy, where he oversees the foundation of the academy’s proven developmental pathway.
Working with our youngest athletes, Greg is responsible for establishing the technical fundamentals, movement patterns, discipline, and habits that prepare players for long-term success. His passion lies in creating an environment where players develop confidence, work ethic, and a genuine love for improvement while progressing through every stage of the academy. With over 35 years of coaching experience, Greg brings an unmatched combination of technical expertise, leadership, and passion for developing young athletes.
