Meet Coach Jamison

Jamison Wallace is currently a sophomore at Christopher Newport University, where he competes on the men’s tennis team while studying cybersecurity.  Jamison’s development as a player reflects the discipline and work ethic he brings to coaching. Throughout high school, he progressed from approximately a 6 UTR to a 9.5 UTR, giving him firsthand experience with what it takes to make significant improvements both on and off the court.

Jamison played at Powhatan High School, where he was a three-time regional singles champion and Virginia state singles runner-up. Beyond his individual accomplishments, he took pride in his role as team captain and was recognized by his coaches for his leadership, investment in his teammates, and ability to push those around him to improve.

Jamison also brings four summers of coaching experience at Salisbury Country Club in Midlothian. His coaching philosophy centers around creating an environment where players are challenged to work hard, develop discipline, and improve their game while maintaining a positive and enjoyable experience on the court.

Jamison brings a strong combination of current collegiate playing experience, proven personal development, leadership, and enthusiasm for helping young players improve at Trizzino Tennis Academy.
