Coach Aaron began his coaching career in 2016 at just 17 years old, serving as a summer camp coach under the late Claude England at Woodholme Country Club, his childhood coach and first mentor in the sport.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management with a minor in Business Administration from Towson University. While in college, Aaron worked as an assistant professional at a local swim and tennis club under Joey Atas, a two-time Duke University All-American and another influential figure from his junior development years.
Following graduation, Aaron coached high school tennis for five seasons. In his first two years as a varsity head coach, he guided The Park School of Baltimore Girls’ Varsity team to back-to-back IAAM Conference Championships. He has also spent the past two summers coaching at the prestigious IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Aaron’s coaching philosophy centers on strong fundamentals, efficient movement, and developing confident competitors. He emphasizes creating an environment where players trust their skills, compete freely under pressure, and grow both on and off the court.
A note from Chris:
After spending time with Aaron both on and off the court, it quickly became clear that he possesses a well-developed tennis mind and a natural coach’s eye. Like my own journey, Aaron invested in his coaching career at an early age, showing a level of commitment and curiosity that sets him apart.
His passion for player development, attention to detail, and ability to connect with athletes make him a tremendous asset to our academy. I am confident that Coach Aaron will have a lasting impact not only within our program, but throughout the local tennis community.
